Jess Maron - Climate Ride 2011

Jess Maron

One of our work-trade students, Jess Maron, will be bicycling from Eureka to San Francisco in support of Climate Ride. Climate Ride is an organization helping to raise funds for other organizations that are fighting for a cleaner, healthier Earth for us all.

For every new student in every class offered from August 15, 2011 through September 15, 2011 we will donate $1.00 to help support Jess and Climate Ride California. Help us give back to the community by taking a new class, in which you too, can give back through the healing power of Acupressure.

An open letter from Jess:

Hello Friends and Family,

I will be fundraising for the first time, participating in the 2011 Climate Ride – California. I’m trying to do my part to help keep our Earth clean and beautiful for others: using reusable bags, bicycling or taking public transportation, buying products with little or no packaging, just trying to have a greater awareness of the impact I have on an everyday basis.

It would be wonderful if you too were doing similar things and I’d love to hear from you about the little things you are doing that have made a positive change in your life. I’m also hoping you’ll consider donating to these amazing organizations. I want to join you in pledging and vow to match the total amount of donations I receive at a 1% donation from myself. Help me go broke! :)

All of these organizations in their own way are bringing awareness to the general public about alternative means of transportation, energy, and a way of life. Unfortunately we still live in a society where money is required to survive, without your donation these organizations will struggle to survive.

You can make a secure online donation today by clicking on the ‘Support Me’ button through the link below. You’ll automatically receive an acknowledgment and I will be notified by email of your support.

Thank you for your help!
